In Summary
The destruction must stop and the people responsible take over the operation of the roads in a professional manner.
· This impunity by those erecting these speed bumps on public roads as well as community paths is causing accidents and deaths causing social costs to the public.
· A speed hump or a speed bump creates the same discomfort for a motorist going too snappily whether it's their first or their hundredth time over it.
I'm writing To Whom It May Concern; because it seems no bone wants to take responsibility over the accumulating, dangerously erected and ill- conceived business operation structures on our roads and paths across the country.I’ve two scholars on sanitarium wards awaiting medical procedures following accidents related to inadequately erected road bumps, and most probably, the scholars will have endless disability.
Over the leaves, after nearly seven bad accidents on a road near Bumbe Technical Training Institute in Busia County, where one life was lost, one of the bumps has been removed. The vicious damage to property especially vehicles and riders, injuries and scars to mortal and more ruinous the loss of lives resulting to these inadequately erected and non-marked road fenders that are supposed to insure business safety and inflow is huge, and the fact that authorities are quiet about it's veritably worrying.
This immunity by those erecting these speed combers on public roads as well as community paths is causing grave profitable, artistic, and social costs to the public. Numerous times, they're erected at sharp corners or bends or on public roads, where they're largely raised, and made of an admixture of monuments, essence, nails, wood, and all associated crude munitions. The concern is that these road bumps done in a veritably rudimentary manner and aimed at injuring others are erected by anybody anywhere, and authorities feel unbothered.
In a working system, how would members of the public erect bumps on public roads, using particulars that are classified in the country’s laws are crude munitions, we stay and see loss of lives and destruction of property and damaging of recently constructed roads without any action? Who's responsible for not only supervising our public roads and paths or authoring and regulating the construction of road bumps, grumble strips or speed bumps? These killer structures are common on Busia-Kisumu Road, Busia-Port Victoria Road, and Sio-Busijo-Bumbe-Sisenye road. They're veritably destructive and virulently erected. They go against any given benefits of speed bumps, wake calls, sleepy bumps, drunk bumps, or speed combers as professionally known in business operation.
Courtesy of online sources, I've read and understood that both speed bumps and humps are useful to encourage safe driving in rambler zones. One of the great strengths of speed bumps and humps is that they remain a hostile no matter how habituated motorists come to their presence. A speed hump or a speed bump creates the same discomfort for a motorist going too impatiently whether it's their first or their hundredth time over it. Speed humps are useful in places where business needs to flow, and speed bumps in small areas where climbers and business share space more inversely. Professional speed bumps and speed humps are generally made from rubber or asphalt. A bump in the road isn't perfect for every business calmingscenario.Speed bumps and humps are generally well pronounced with differing colors or reflective shells to insure visibility, but they also need to be installed in places where a motorist can see them coming. They aren't effective when used in the middle of a long wind, or on thoroughfares where the grade is lesser than 8. Speed humps and bumps are also not recommended for arterial or exigency roads, where they can be a hazard.
I was suitable to note that it’s purely because of the failure on the part of the officers in public workshop and the colorful public agencies in the roads sector that we're seeing the dangerous of our roads. The destruction must stop and the people responsible take over the operation of the roads in a professional manner.
